CarChip Pro w/ Alarm

The CarChip Pro allows you to store up to 300 hours of driving data. (The actual number of hours will vary, depending on how frequently you log data.) It also provides user-settable alarms for speed, hard braking, and quick acceleration.

You´ll get time and date for each trip, distance, speed, hard accelerations and decelerations, and engine diagnostic trouble codes. CarChip Pro with Alarm records every second of every trip. You can also test for emissions status - find out if the used car will pass the smog test before you buy it! You can also sort business and personal miles, set thresholds for alarms and graphs, and calculate gas mileage.

With CarChip Pro with Alarm you´ll also be able to monitor any four out of 23 user-selectable engine parameters, including:

• RPM
• Throttle position
• Engine load
• Fuel pressure
• Fuel system status
• Short- and long-term-fuel trim
• Battery voltage
• Timing advance
• Coolant temperature
• Air flow rate
• Intake air temperature
• Intake manifold pressure
• Oxygen sensor voltage

Plus, CarChipE/X will automatically generate an accident log showing the last critical 20 seconds of speed. in case of an accident.

Important Safety Notice

CarChip has been carefully designed and tested to comply with the OBDII protocols used on most cars and light trucks sold in the USA, model-year 1996 or later. However, some vehicle models are not in full compliance with these protocols. In addition, the computer control systems on any given vehicle may be malfunctioning or out of spec, as may be the sensors used by these systems.

While our testing and the experience of thousands of CarChip users have shown the unit to be safe and reliable, there is an inherent risk in adding any aftermarket product that may potentially affect the operation or drivability of your vehicle. Should you be concerned about the operation of your vehicle at any time while using CarChip, you should pull over, off the roadway, immediately or as soon as it is safe to do so. Remove CarChip from the OBDII port and consult a licensed mechanic or automobile service center.
