What is a keylogger and what is it used for?
A keylogger is an excellent way to track your family’s online activity because it discreetly records all keystrokes entered into your computer’s keyboard and saves them for later viewing. The best part is that keyloggers require little to no experience to use and can be set-up in less than 5 seconds. A keylogger acts like a filter between the information you type into your keyboard and the computer itself.
How do I choose which type of keylogger to use?
To choose a keylogger, simply take a look at the back of your computer. If you have a circular input hole as shown below, then you want to get a PS/2 keylogger. With a rectangular input hole your computer can accept USB keyloggers. If you have both types of inputs on your computer, then simply see which one your keyboard is plugged into. Once you plug your keylogger into the computer, you plug your keyboard into the keylogger. All of this information you type into the keyboard will be saved for your later review.
